Autolube Dilemma

I've recently bought a PX125E off a guy who has had the head and barrel replaced (no longer 125, but a 180) due to the fact that the inside of the barrel was scored. I dont know whether to disable the autolube or not. Will the autolube still supply enough oil to keep the engine lubed. Didnt know if it was adjustable or not. He said he rode it from london to brighton on the autolube, and that the guy in the shop that done the work never mentioned anything about disabling it and using premixed fuel.

If i do need to disable, is it just a matter of taking hose off of the oil inlet on carb box and blocking both ends?

    Help me please.

no need to worry mate,as long as the autolube is working fine ,then it will deliver enough two stroke

and use the best oil you can afford, people never cease to amaze me by spending lots of their hard earned on their engine and then skimp by buying cheap oil. Definitely a false economy when you are sat on the side of the road with a seized engine

Ah ok. Im using castrol act>evo 2T which i think costs about £7-8 a litre. Not sure if this is good or bad oil. But its got a well known name on it. I dont mind spending any amount to save a jammed up engine. Any idea? Thanks Mr Maniac
