  Was out on my LML star today and for the first time ran out of fuel, so flipped the paddle to the reserve tank but scooter wouldnt start. Got my bro to bring me some fuel and scooter ran no problem. Have I done something or NOT for that matter regarding the reserve fuel?????

  Hi Beastie your scooter should have a Fuel Tank Capacity 8 litres, inclusive of 1 litre in reserve so your fuel tap is at fault or your tank has not got the lower pipe inside for the reserve bit. not sure whitch.

  Thanks mate, the scooter goes back in now for its 300mile run in service so will get them to check this out. Thought I was being stupid but sounds like teething trouble......

  your scoots an LML? newer scoots dont have a reserve as such, there should be a sender in the tank which is attached to the fuel gauge on your speedo, if it is then your fuel tap only has an on and off, did you get vivo put the retro speedo on for you?

  Coco & Stevo, thanks for your help. It is a new LML and it has a retro speedo so no fuel guage or light, and the bastard definitely told me that the if I ran out of fuel turn the fuel tap to reserve and that would get me 50 miles or so....anyway I have emailed him regarding this, and my 300 mile run in service and the chrome backrest ad spare wheel that was never fitted at the time. Can you tell i'm pissed off with them?????? Still loving it tho'
